Ducks Land Second Verbal Commitment

Taylor Hart, from Tualatin, Oregon, has committed to the University of Oregon according to both Rivals.com and Scout.com.

Hart, a 6'6 250 pound offensive and defensive linemen for the state runner up Tualatin High School was an honorable mention linemen as well as second team all league in his conference as a Junior. Rivals is listing Hart as a defensive linemen in college.

Seeing Hart play against Sheldon in the state title game, Hart showed the ability to play on either side of the ball as he constantly was quicker, faster, and stronger than his opponents that were close to 50 pounds heavier on the line. Hart has the frame to add a considerable amount of weight and keep the relative same speed, which will be important in the next level.

Hart is currently the second known recruit to offer his non binding verbal commitment to Oregon. Ex-Central Catholic High School, and current Western Arizona CC Defensive Tackle, Myles Wade committed to Oregon on February 12, 2008.
