Spring Practice Day 2

1. Mheal looks to have bulked up some and also seems a tad faster.

2. Holland is the real deal when it comes to speed, he just glides on the grass.

3. Pflugrand looks to have bulked up big time and it made him look taller, but I doubt he grew any.

4. Franz Dorsainvil is very very green, but if he can pick things up he could develop into a solid player for us. Sizewize, one of the tallest players and fittest players out there. Standing next to Reed, Reed looked under 6 foot.

5. Harper is a big big QB has some solid touch on his balls and can move well. A chance to play early, but a RS would be better since we have the depth.

6. Thomas is no where near 210 IMO. Twig. Very very skinny. Dixon close is spot on down to the frame of his body. Quick and nice touch.

7. Roper was throwing alot of perfect deep balls.

8. Costa looks good, clear he still hasnt adjusted to his knee and at times seemed to favor it at times. Still threw the best balls out there.

9. Ed dickson is a very big man. He seemed to bulk up yet cut the extra weight. Very cut guy. He will be gone IMO after this season if he gets a few more balls his way each game.

10. Blount is a very big back. Maybe even bigger than Stewart. Not as cut and defined as Stewart, but Blount was way bigger than I thought, and not out of shape.

11. Johnson looks very good being back so quickly. I am amazed at that.

12. Alston has cut his weight and looked very agile. Might be a guy to keep an eye on.

13. Weems was over weight or out of shape IMO. Coaches were riding him all practice to push it and finish hard. IMO the coaches are expecting him to have a solid role this year and are trying to work him hard.

14. Unger seems to have bulked up and improved his speed( Unger is my favorite OL so I watched him alot last year).

15. Jwill seems to have problems still catching the ball in traffic.

16. Javis Lewis had alot of coaching given to him at the Safety spot.

17. Dixon, Paysinger, Colvin, and Schwartz were all watching practice today.

18. A few recruits were on hand for the practice, notedly a very large linemen that was about 6'2 270 from by best SWAG.
