Nick Reed, a returning Senior, has been added to the Lott Trophy Award Watch List going into his senior season. Reed saw his fame and talent rise after a very successful Junior season for the Ducks in which he recorded 12 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss.
The Lott Trophy is awarded to the top defensive linemen in the country with a total of 42 players currently on the watch list.
The winner will be announced at a gala black-tie banquet at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, Ca. on December 14th, 2008.
