Among internet chatter, message boards galore, and talk around the UO campus, it appears that Oregon might have landed a commitment for the Mens basketball team.
Hold your horses, its not the 6A player of the year and 4* top 100 recruit Brad Tinsley from Oregon City. Wait, what!?!?! Let me say again, its not Brad Tinsley.
Theres rumors circulating around town and across the bandwidth that Sunset PG Garrett Sim, the other 6A State player of the year, who had committed to Cal under former coach Ben Braun has been granted his release from new head coach Mike Montgomery and has accepted a surprise offer from Ernie Kent and the rest of the Oregon coaching staff.
Sim averaged almost 23 points a game along with his assists hovering around 10 a game throughout his entire senior season. Sim was a member of the first team all state as well as dubbed the biggest surprise in the state tournament in Eugene in early March as he showed he was just as good or even better than the more known recruits in Tinsley, Paul McCoy, and WSU bound PG Michael Harthun.

Baseless rumor that should be left to the message boards.
It is not a rumor. He's going to start at the point next year. He's is that good and getting better.
well I just texted him...so I'm pretty sure I will know soon
Brad Tinsley looks like a 4th grader, with a good shot playing against Sim. Tinsley is overrated, unathletic, and not nearly good enough to play PAC-10 basketball. Sim on the other hand, is ready.
Anonymous that texted Sim:
Any return message?
Rivals is saying that he has got a release and now is looking at new schools.
