Since last Friday when I updated the offer list the Duck's Coaching Staff have extended four more offers out to high school football recruits for the class of 2009.
Before I unvail the new offers we need to take a trip down memory lane to get an idea of who one of the recruits is.
Remember that? Sure you do! But why am show this when we are talking recruiting?
Oregon has offered Kenny Wheaton's cousin, Markus, who is from the same area in Phoenix, AZ that Kenny came from. Oh, Markus also plays Corner just like his older cousin.
Now, onto the list.
1. Markus Wheaton
1* WR/CB from Chandler, AZ (Chandler High School)
6'1 174 pounds 4.4 forty.
Wheaton the cousin of legendary Duck Kenny Wheaton currently has offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado, Arizona, and SMU.
Named 1st team all region and honorable mention all state as a WR during his junior year. Caught 23 passes for 476 yards and 6 TDs. Also rushed for 315 yards and 4 more scores and recorded 49 tackles and 1 INT as a DB. Also 1st team all region as a sophomore WR.
2. Jack Harris
3* OL from Parker, CO (Chaparral High School)
6'6 270 pounds
All Conference as a junior and holds offers from Oregon, Colorado, Arizona State, Colorado State, and Texas Tech.
3. Kendall Kelly
4* WR from Gadsden, AL (Gadsden City High School)
6'4 215 pounds 4.45 forty.
Kelly recorded 34 receptions for 595 yards, rushed 17 times for 189 yards and scored nine touchdowns. ASWA Honorable Mention 6A WR for 2007 season.
Offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Florida State, North Carolina, Oregon, and USC.
4. Chris Freeman
3* OL 6'9 320
Freeman, a basketball turned football player is still growing into his football body. Holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Illinois, LSU, Miami(Fl), Michigan, and Oregon.
